Goal Setting

Goal setting is a key part to making changes so I think I will be a good idea  to set some goals for me to focus on during the week. I've been struggling a lot this week with my eating habits and I can see the effects on my skin, energy levels and mood. My goals this week will really focus on that as I need to get it sorted ASAP. I will update this weekly with new goals and a progress report on the previously set goals.

Goals for this week:

1) eat diary and wheat free- I want to trial this to see the effect it has on my skin. My acne has starting to get much worse and is my biggest insecurity so I'm hoping I will see the improvement that some have seen.

2) No Binge Eating- late at night is the worst period for this; when I sit down to study all I do is eat and eat. My plan of action will be to substitute the action of eating with other activities; painting my nails, reading a book, walking the dog, drinking herbal tea. 

So these are my 2 goals for this week; 2 isn't many but I think they are quite big changes and I want to focus all my energy on them.

Change

This is my little space of the internet to document my journey to happiness. I'm tired of hating myself and wishing for things to change. Change will only happen if I make it, and I think I'm finally in the head space to do so. This journey will be tough but I need to be healthy (in every sense of the word) before I leave for university in September 2014.

My goals are to:
- Sort out my unhealthy relationship with food; no more strict diets and inevitable binges.
- Reduce my social anxiety and become more confident.
- Overcome insomnia and get some sleep!
- Saying yes to new experiences, spending less time home alone
- Study study study
- Overcome my depression

Right, lets do this!
